This sixteen-track collection, Gaelic Scotland, features traditional Gaelic songs from the Isle of Skye and other areas of Scotland. Performers include the band Cliar, Blair Douglas (Runrig), Iain MacKay, Maeve MacKinnon and the late Ishbel MacAskill. The instruments to be heard are many: fiddles, bagpipes, clarsach (harp), concertina, guitar, dulcimer, whistle, flute, percussion and others. The accompanying booklet includes the original lyrics in Gaelic with translations into English and German, as well as information about the songs and the musicians.
