Benjamin Grosvenor - "Liszt" Hot on the heels of his 2020 Diapason d'Or and Gramophone Award triumphs, British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor presents his next album with Decca Classics. The album, Liszt, signifies Grosvenor's most substantial solo recording to date, centered around the works of the Romantic piano virtuoso and composer, Franz Liszt. The release marks Benjamin's sixth album on Decca Classics, following the award-winning Chopin Piano Concertos in 2020.

SLAVA! ART OF ROSTROPOVICH

Two CD live archive release. Truth, Liberty & Soul Live in NYC: The Complete 1982 NPR Jazz Alive! Recording captures the iconic bass innovator Jaco Pastorius leading a 22-piece big band on June 27, 1982 at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City as part of George Wein's Kool Jazz Festival. Featuring a congregation of the top jazz musicians on the New York scene at the time such as Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, Randy Brecker, Jon Faddis, Frank Wess, Lew Soloff, Howard Johnson and others, along with the legendary harmonicist Toots Thielemans as a special guest. Truth, Liberty & Soul showcases Jaco's brilliant compositions for large ensembles with electrifying energy of a live performance. A portion of the concert was previously broadcast on the NPR program Jazz Alive! In 1982, but this is the first official release authorized by the Jaco Pastorius Estate, Warner Music Group and NPR Music and contains an additional 40 minutes which never aired. Culled from the original 24-track tape reels, this is the complete concert from start-to-finish, with the sound meticulously restored for release and mastered by the original recording engineer from the broadcast, and multi-Grammy award winner, Paul Blakemore.

2019 release. 25 years on from the release of Officium, the groundbreaking alliance of Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek and British vocal group The Hilliard Ensemble, comes Remember me, my dear, recorded during the group's final tour in 2014. The program is emblematic of the range of repertoire the musicians explored together. And this final album reminds us that the unique Garbarek/Hilliard combination, and it's unprecedented exploration of sound, was consistently breathtaking.

Recorded on June 22, 2007 at the legendary Clinton Recording Studios in NYC for BBC radio program Something Else. Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Coltrane's Passing on July 17, 1967.

The world-leading tenor Piotr Beczala records his first solo operatic album with Deutsche Grammophon, a collection of best-loved arias all connected to France or Paris. He is joined by the German star soprano Diana Damrau. The album contains famous arias from Berlioz, Gounod, Massenet, Verdi and others. During the course of 2015, Beczala will be performing in market at the Metropolitan Opera and San Francisco Opera.

Jonas Kaufmann is without question the most versatile tenor of his generation, and his current repertoire includes an astonishing range of opera roles from Mozart to Wagner. ROMANTIC ARIAS includes opera favorites by the Italian giants Verdi and Puccini, by French greats Berlioz and Bizet, and by Wagner, the epitome of German Romanticism. Kaufmann responds to each composer with sudective ease.
