The Silver-Garburg Piano Duo has been successfully performing together for over 20 years and touring in more than 70 countries. Their new album on Berlin Classics, "Great Fugue, " is set to be released on June 27, 2025, and features a unique combination of works by Beethoven as well as newly written and arranged workds by Austrian composer Richard Dunser. The piano duo is accompanied on the recording by the renowned Artis Quartet. The album offers an exciting juxtaposition of Beethoven's versions of the Great Fugue for string quartet and four-hand piano, as well as pieces by Schubert and Dunser, bridging tradition and contemporary music. With "Great Fugue, " Silver-Garburg deliver a powerful statement full of passion and artistic precision.

The German-Greek pianist Danae Dorken belongs to the elite of a new generation of internationally sought-after artists. The current album is a tribute to the great Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis on the 100th anniversary of his birth, which is on 29 July 2025. Theodorakis compositions blended classical, folk, and modern elements, often expressing the struggles and spirit of the Greek people. The new album by pianist Ragna Schirmer tells the story about the blind composer Maria Theresia von Paradis. Louis Braille invented the tactile writing system for Maria Theresia in 1824/25. Ragna Schirmer plays on an original replica of a grand piano from the composers' time, built by the Greifenberger Institut. Maria Theresia's contemporaries Mozart and Haydn accompanying the repertoire list.

The Concerto Copenhagen and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir celebrate the 90th birthday of Estonian composer Arvo Part. The new recording under the musical direction of the Estonian chorus master and conductor Tonu Kaljuste is the perfect 'birthday serenade' for their renowned compatriot. Oboist Celine Moinet has already released three albums on Berlin Classics with music by Bach, Schumann and French composers. Now she returns with an album, where she pairs Mozart's Adagio for English Horn K580a and Oboe Quartet with world premiere recordings of the works by Luigi Gatti: Quartet in F major and C major. The Italian composer settled down in Salzburg in 1782, when he was already an acquaintence to the Mozart family. Worth discovering are Gatti's chamber works, created during his later years as a retiree after the secularisation and dissolution of the Salzburg prince-archbishopric in 1803. These works reveal him as a skilled and inventive master of form, as well as an experimenter in instrumentation. The F major quartet, in particular, presents considerable virtuoso challenges, including passages that push the oboe's range even higher than Mozart's quartet, reaching up to high G (g'). This daring extension of the oboe's tonal possibilities marks Gatti as an innovator and serves as a testament to his creative spirit.

The large-scale Bach Organ Landscapes project featuring J.S. Bach's entire organ oeuvre recorded on a range of instruments aims to provide an overview of organ-playing and organ-building traditions that were key to Bach's composing. With a keen eye to the unique cultural organ legacy of the places associated with Bach, Halubek has placed Bach's original sound at the heart of his project. The recordings are accompanied by digital material that offer an almost tactile access to the great composer's sound universe.

Segovia is Carlotta Dalia's debut album on Berlin Classics - as the first female guitarist in the label's artist roster. The programme is recorded with Carlotta Dalia playing the 1939 Hermann Hauser I guitar, that was originally built for Andres Segovia. There are only two Hermann Hauser guitars existing, one is currently in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The album contains works for solo guitar by Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Pedrell, Haug, Ibert, Torroba, Turina and Segovia himself, plus one new commissioned piece by Enrico Melozzi, written especially for Carlotta Dalia.

Hornist Felix Klieser presents two concertos for Horn and Orchestra by Kurt Atterberg and Rolf Martinsson. After the big success of his Mozart Horn Concertos album with the Camerata Salzburg, he is now accompanied by the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrucken and English conductor Jamie Phillips, who is leading the recording. The Horn concerto "Soundscape" by Rolf Martinsson was comissioned for Felix Klieser and is the composers third solo concerto for brass instruments and premiered in 2022 in Saarbrucken.

The new Kreuzkantor Martin Lehmann and his Dresdner Kreuzchor present their new recording of Francis Poulenc's "Gloria" for soprano, mixed choir and orchestra (FP 177). Combining it with the liturgically corresponding "Mass" for soloists, choir and orchestra in A flat major (D 678) by Franz Schubert. They performed the two works in the acoustically magnificent Kulturpalast Dresden with a first-class cast of soloist Elsa Benoit, Irike Malotta, Patrick Grahl and Klaus Hager. This album is continuing the Dresden Philarmonic Orchestra and Kreuzchor's long history of recordings and artistic collaboration on Berlin Classics.
