Clare Hammond follows her releases Etude and Reflections with this release of the works of British composer Kenneth Hesketh (b. 1968). Clare describes Hesketh’s works for piano as ‘music of phenomenal depth in which there is always something new to discover, something to surprise even the most jaded ear.’ The highlight of this album is Horae (pro clara), a forty-minute cycle in twelve parts that Kesketh wrote for Clare Hammond.
