• In 1732-33 Telemann published the 12 Fantasies for “transverse flute without bass”. The composer uses the Fantasie structure as a vehicle for highly variable musical forms and means of expression. Telemann described the 1716 Little Chamber Music as “consisting of 6 Partiten, arranged in a light singing manner for the violin, transverse flute, and keyboard.” Hansjörg Schellenberger, Margit-Anna Süß and Josef Radauer perform.
