The newest release from Kronos Quartet features “Tundra Songs,” “Cercle du Nord III” and a selection of Inuit Throat Song Games for String Quartet written by JUNO Award-winning composer Derek Charke. All three works were commissioned and premiered by the Kronos Quartet to critical acclaim in North America and Europe. Tundra Songs was designed to complement the voice of its lead performer, Intuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq.
