The title, Celestial Blue, is a reference to wide open blue sky and all the possibilities that implies. This release is a culmination of Mark Fewer and Daniel Janke's desire to explore a musical connection through a series of duets, representing their unique voices together. Many songs on the album contain strong references to gospel and folk traditions, music that resonates deeply for Fewer and Janke. Most of the music is through-composed however there are elements throughout of improvisation or comprovisation.

In this first recording exclusively devoted to the music of Polish-born Canadian composer Norbert Palej, CLOUD LIGHT immerses listeners in music that actively grapples with the modern understanding of art song and demonstrates that it is still a genre capable of the most profound musical expression and innovation. Featuring new songs written for and premiered by mezzo-soprano Mich�le Bogdanowicz, baritone Peter McGillivray, tenor Lawrence Wiliford, soprano Jacqueline Woodley and pianist Steven Philcox, this exploration of 21st - century Canadian art song presents four works: Three Norwegian Songs (2011) for baritone and piano, Four Lyrical Moments (2013) for mezzo-soprano and piano, Cloud Light: Fourteen Small Songs (2012) performed by soprano, tenor and piano and The Demise of Argus Panoptes (2015) for SATB quartet and piano. In his settings of Canadian, Polish, Norwegian (translated into English) and classical Latin poetry, Palej demonstrates his interest and skill in working with a wide palette of vocal and instrumental colours intimately to depict narrative and animate text. The second release by Canadian Art Song Project, following ASH ROSES (2014), this release continues to expand the recorded repertoire of art song by Canadian composers, performed by some of Canada's most recognized advocates of chamber music and song. Founded in 2011 by tenor Lawrence Wiliford and pianist Steven Philcox and inspired by a passion for Canadian music, Canadian Art Song Project's mission is to build on the rich legacy of Canadian song. It engages composers, librettists, and performers to share and celebrate their experiences through the creation of new music and provides opportunities for Canadian artists to program and advocate the wealth of beauty in the existing song literature.

Voices of Earth is a celebration of four Canadian choral composers at their splendid best and of their importance in our choral life. This CD also celebrates the 28-year relationship between the Amadeus Choir and the Bach Children's Chorus with outstanding Canadian music for combined children's and adult choirs. Founded in 1975, the Amadeus Choir performs a regular series of concerts at carefully selected downtown Toronto venues, presenting well-known artists in works by Canadian and international composers, including major works with instrumental ensembles or full orchestra, as well as challenging a cappella performances. Voices of Earth is the Amadeus Choir's eighth CD release. In 2002, their CD, Spirit Song, received the biennial award for "Outstanding Choral Recording" 2001-02 by the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors. The Amadeus and Bach Children's Chorus have been privileged to work closely with composers Eleanor Daley and Ruth Watson Henderson through many years and are thrilled that both Eleanor and Ruth play their own works on this CD, creating a wonderful legacy for the Amadeus Choir, the Bach Children's Chorus, and the many listeners who appreciate the works of these two amazing composers. It has been a great honor to commission, premiere and perform together on many occasions both Ruth Watson Henderson's Voices of Earth and Eleanor Daley's Salutation of the Dawn. Additionally on this CD, is the much-loved I Will Sing Unto the Lord of Imant Raminsh and Eleanor Daley's Prayer for Peace. The Amadeus Choir presents Of Heart and Tide, privately commissioned especially for the choir composed by Sid Robinovitch.

Sing Your Song represents a recording of 16 masterful choral works that pay tribute to the richness of Canadian musicianship and its composers. The Amabile Choirs of London, Canada have purposefully released this disc for Canada’s sesquicentennial to celebrate their rich choral heritage. This recording features the music of Matthew Emery, renowned Canadian composer, who has been commissioned to write dozens of new choral masterpieces with performances celebrated globally. His writing questions and challenges the human spirit and exemplifies why Canadian choral music is renowned around the world. His use of musical phrase is exquisite and mature; his use of harmonies decidedly unconventional yet readily understood; his marriage of text and music a testament of his beliefs about how music can support the continued existence of a creative and inspiring world. His music definitively questions the world around us and requires the singer, conductor, and listener to respond to those questions spiritually, musically and aesthetically.

This album is composer Peter-Anthony Togni’s first release with Centrediscs. Hymns of Heaven and Earth features three smaller, more intimate compositions by Togni: Hymns of Remembrance, Solstice Nights, and 3 Neruda Odes. The pieces are deeply personal works, showcasing the composer’s feelings about the Divine, nature, and the final track, 3 Neruda Odes, features poetry by 20th century poet Pablo Neruda. Peter-Anthony Togni currently resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and is one of the busiest Canadian composers of our day, winning multiple prizes and frequently being commissioned by ensembles.
