Georgiana Pletea is a pianist who, besides her great technical skills, also shows an enormous range of creative variations. As a result, she is able to make music out of the moment and, with all the precision in her preparation, finally gives free rein to her emotions on the concert stage.

Even though the three compositions on this album were written in different centuries and under different stylistic conditions, they have something in common: in all works, the composers search for new piano sounds, for expanded technical possibilities and for limits in the respective aesthetics. Georgiana Pletea knows how to convey the atmospheric density of this music and instinctively brings out the dark and abysmal.
