It is from a jazz and sophisticated angle that the Franco-American singer Stephy Haik pays him a vibrant and delicate tribute. She manages to highlight the melodic richness of this repertoire, one of the most fabulous in pop music. Jean Claude Ghrenassia, the album's producer, brings together a real all-star cast of musicians around the singer. The arrangements and orchestration are by Olivier Hutman, who provides Stephy Haik a fantastic setting in which to express her celestial grace.

This 2 DVD set delivers a documentary film of the city of Neuville's school, which was created in 1973 according to the principles and philosophy of Francoise Dolto. The school hosts forty students and ten adults to supervise them. It is meant to be an alternative to the traditional school system with an attention to the participation of the students and their emancipation as human beings. This film (plus bonus) has been made by Fabienne d’Ortoli and Michel Amram, the founders of this school, as a tribute to Fernand Oury (1920 - 1997), one of the major pedagogue and creator of modern French schooling (perhaps the most well-known name in institutional pedagogy) in the mid-sixties. Lightnin' Hopkins was a great Texas blues innovator and investigator of the electric guitar, a powerful composer and a magnificent bluesman. From 1946 to 1953, 'Poor' Lightnin' had many hits and was extremely popular among the Blacks. This album covers the works of this incredibly creative bluesman.

Born into a family of famous gypsy musicians in Belgium, Tcha Limberger is a violinist whose sincerity is as attractive as his virtuosity when he wields his bow. Noting that gypsy jazz had an American matrix — threads of New Orleans and Swing — he took a closer interest in the original music of the Hungarian gypsies known as Tziganes who settled in Central Europe. He went to Hungary for a year and a half, an initiatory voyage on which he met with the best musicians, also learning Hungarian. In 2009 he founded the Gypsy Budapest Orchestra with support from Dave Kelbie, the great British producer of Evan Christopher, Fapy Lafertin etc. Today, Limberger’s violin brilliantly reincarnates Magyar nota, the great popular repertoire of Hungary (between folk and classical music) that had gone into decline. Tcha Limberger is internationally recognized: he triumphed at the 2015 opening of World Music Expo (Womex), and received France Musique’s World Award at Babel Med the same year.
