On this CD the listener will find fifty minutes of concerts from the jungles of the large Indonesian island of Sumatra, proceeded by ten minutes of forest atmosphere from the nearby island of Java. Natural concerts from this part of the world offer an astonishing variety of melodies, tones and rhythms broken by the songs of gibbons and Siamang, a moving form of primitive music.
