Violinist Callum Smart is a student in Indiana, and is a recipient of the Premier Young Artist Award at the Jacobs School of Music. Accompanied by pianist Richard Uttley, the young musician has selected a program of Poulenc, Faure, and Ravel for this album, La Voix. This is Smart’s second release with Orchid. BBC Music described his debut recording as “an exuberantly assured debut”.
