The exceptional Chinese guitarist Junhong Kuang, who won first prize in the Thailand InternationalGuitar Competition in November 2011, has made a remarkable impact on the international stage,receiving standing ovations at venues in New York (Carnegie Hall), Shanghai and Beijing for hisflawless technique and youthful optimism. Aged just 14 at the time of this recording, he has sincegiven the opening concert at the 23rd International Guitar Symposium in Iserlohn, Germany.
