Cellist Zuill Baileys BACH CELLO SUITES was a sleeper bestseller in 2010 and he is following with another stellar release. This time Bailey teams up with longtime pianist and collaborator Awadagin Pratt, for an all-Brahms recording. Zuill and Awadagin perform Brahms Sonatas for Cello and Piano Nos. 1 and 2, his Sonatensatz and five songs on this Spring 2011 recording.

Pianist and composer Hiromi Uehara, whose passionate and incendiary keyboard work has been a shining light on the jazz landscape since her 2003 debut, believes that the voice that never speaks can sometimes be the most powerful of all. Her newest release, a nine-song trio recording simply titled VOICE, expresses a range of human emotions without the aid of a single lyric. Features special guests bassist Anthony Jackson (Paul Simon, the OJays, Steely Dan, Chick Corea) and drummer Simon Phillips (The Who, Judas Priest, David Gilmour, Jack Bruce).
