Johann Sebastian Bach composed almost two hundred chorale preludes and chorale arrangements, but they have rarely been interpreted on viola and piano. On this recording, violist Hariolf Schlichtig and pianist Yumi Sekiya perform some of these familiar works as well as the three beautiful gamba sonatas from Köthen.
