She tells how her life dramatically changed on September 14, 1942 when her Jewish parents were were arrested, sent to a concentration camp and killed in Auschwitz. She wasn't home when they were arrested, and when she came back, she had to brave a new life, alone, hiding first, and then - after the war - living the rest of her days with the tremendous loss and pain.
