Calle Rasmusson is a drummer, composer, arranger, orchestrator, and producer, who has performed alongside some of the finest artists in the business, including Mathias Algotsson Trio, Magnus Lindgren, Blue House Jazz Orchestra, Patti Austin, DalaSinfoniettan, and many others. A graduate of both Skurups Folkhogskola and the Royal College of Music Stockholm, Rasmusson has won several prestigious awards for his performing and composing, including the Ronnie Gardiner Drum Award in 2004 and the Konstnarsnamndens arbetsstipendium komponist 2010. All of the works on this release are arranged by Calle Rasmusson, and several are original compositions. He conducts and performs alongside the DalaSinfonietten for this release.
