Two CD pressing. Digitally remastered edition of this collection. All Day Thumbsucker: The History Of Blue Thumb Records is a compilation celebrating the great music and wild ride of Blue Thumb Records, co-founded by Bob Krasnow and the late Tommy LiPuma, who later became the chairman of Verve. This set, originally issued in 1995, features 32 tracks by a wide variety of rock, soul, blues and jazz artists, a true representation of the label's philosophy. The track list has also been updated to include a cut from Buddy Guy as well as the #1 hit 'How Long (Betcha' Got A Chick On The Side)' by the Pointer Sisters. The package also includes a 24-page booklet with track-by-track annotations and an essay by Ben Sidran, who was at one time a Blue Thumb artist. The Blue Thumb label celebrates it's 50th Anniversary in 2018.
