On the occasion of C.P.E. Bach’s 300th birthday, Zig-Zag Territoires brings together in a 7-CD set the principal recordings from its catalogue of chamber works and concertos by C.P.E. Bach and his father, Johann Sebastian. + By the father, we can hear, in particular, the Sonatas for violin and harpsichord, the Sonatas for viola da gamba and harpsichord and the Violin Concertos. + Representing C.P.E. Bach are the Trio Sonatas for two flutes and continuo and the Sonatas for violin and pianoforte. + W.F. Bach is also represented by a single work, the Sonata in D Major for two flutes and continuo Fv. 47.
