This 3 CDs set, realized with the help of Marcel Pagnol’s family, delivers a treasure of our collective memory: the first part of Marcel Pagnol’s trilogy, “Marius”. Successful Theatre play in 1929 with some of the greatest actors of the time (Raimu, Fresnay…), a movie was made of Marius in 1931. Marcel Pagnol himself recorded some stage indications in 1960 so the dialogues could be edited on records.
