Sir Edgar Elgar is one of Britain's finest composers, and presented here are brand new recordings of his works by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. These Elgar compositions are conducted by former principal conductor for the BBC Concert Orchestra, the distinguished British conductor Barry Wordsworth, at London's Cadogan Hall. Included are the complete five Pomp and Circumstance Marches, Enigma Variations, and Cockaigne Overture.
