American guitarist Billy Arcila spent his childhood in Colombia and is today one of California’s foremost guitarists. This album of all world premiere recordings is the first to be made of his music, interspersed with the music of other admired composers in original versions and arrangements that feature Colombian nationalist elements, such as the bambuco and pasillo rhythms.
