The Latvian-born Tatjana Vorobjova began her music education on piano, but passionate interest in early music and harpsichord eventually led her to study harpsichord in Oslo and Köln. + Her particular concern, expressed in richness of sound, dynamism and refined nuance, is a search for the expansion of expressive possibilities of the instrument – both in solo and continuo. + On this recording she presents selected harpsichord works by J. S. Bach, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Domenico Scarlatti and Joseph-Hector Fiocco (1703-41), whose works reveal the heavy influence of François Couperin.
