“Drifting Like A Bird” is Annbjorg Lien’s ninth album. It is an inspired studio version of a commissioned piece of the same title that Annbjorg composed in 2013 for the North Sea Festival in Farsund. Annbjorg has strong roots in Norwegian folk music, but constantly turns her gaze outward toward an international audience. Artists featured on this album include Cathy Jordan, Tori Wranes, Anders Lofberg, Roger Tallroth, Bjorn Ole Rasch, and Rune Arnesen. +Annbjorg herself sings on many of the pieces on this album. This album was recorded outside of Kristiansand at Kongshavn Studios.
