The debut CD of Francesco Sica, Claude Frochaux and Irina Botan – The Monte Piano Trio – consists of five works of the late 19th-early 20th c. by five composers, all later to find fame, then still in, or barely out of, their teenage years. Founded in Frankfurt in 2008, the equally youthful Trio Monte enjoy a busy festival and concert schedule that has seen them perform throughout Europe, the USA, the UK, China, Turkey and Brazil, and been broadcast on TV and Radio internationally.
