In this 3CD set, Olivier Julien details the extremely rich first decade of the poet’s career, from 1947 to 1956: his first songs, sung by edith Piaf, the Freres Jacques, Patachou, Catherine Sauvage and Ferre himself, and as a bonus, a version of “Les amoureux du Havre” sung by Annabel, never released on record before today.
