Composer Christian Jost has been commissioned by festivals, opera houses, and leading orchestras the world over. Among these are the Berlin Philharmonic, Zurich Opera, and the Jerusalem Chamber Music Festival. His performances are well-received worldwide. A prizewinning composer, Jost won the Ernst von Siemens Foundation Encouragement Prize in 2003, and his opera Hamlet was praised as “World Premiere of the Year” in 2009.
