Published in 1721, Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels immediately met amazing success and became one of the most famous novels of all time. A satire on human nature but also a parody of the "travellers' tales" literary sub-genre, the novel tells the most unbelievable adventures with marvelous characters: giants, Lilliputians, talking animals. These situations and characters are the occasion for Jonathan Swift to give a distorted reflection of our own world. This reading (in French) of this adaptation for children (6 to 10 years old) is performed by Pierre Richard, surrounded by musicians and actors.
