Composer Patrizio Marrone is currently the composer in residence of the Horn Players of International Meetings Guelfo Nalli. A composer of theater, chamber music, and symphonic music, he studied piano with Massimo Bertucci and composition with Bruno Mazzott before studying at the Hochschule fur Musik in Karlsruhe. For this new release, eight of Marrone’s compositions are featured, including his five “Conversazioni con le cose senza nome, along with an Adagio and a Rondo for saxophone quartet, and a flute duet titled “Non E’Una Carezza.” The performing artists featured on this release are Ciro Longobardi, Tommaso Rossi, Daniele Colombo, Antonio Grance, and Quartetto di sassofoni Arcadia.
