This anticipated new release features world premiere recordings of orchestral pieces by influential Finnish composer, Erkki Melartin (1875-1937). The works chosen include "Traumgesicht, Op. 70," "Marjatta, Op. 79," and "Music from the ballet The Blue Pearl, Op. 160." Soprano Soile Isokoski is the featured soloist on these pieces, alongside the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Hannu Lintu.
