ORFEO is proud to release clarinetist Jorg Widmann’s first-ever recording of Mozart’s Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra. The release is a prelude to further projects between Widmann and ORFEO. Alongside the Mozart concerto, Widmann has programmed Carl Maria von Weber’s Kozert fur Klarinette und Orchester No. 1 f-Moll, and an original composition entitled Drei Schattentanze. Widmann is joined by Deutsches Symphonie-orchester Berlin, conducted by Peter Ruzicka.
