Elizabeth Hainen has won international recognition as one of today's foremost virtuoso harpists. Currently principal harp of the Philadelphia Orchestra, she's done much to encourage the composition of new works for her instrument. This release includes works conceived originally for single action harp, introduced in the 18th century and others written for the double-action pedal harp.
