Prairie Sun, staying true to its name, was recorded mainly out on the prairie in California, in a studio with the same name Prairie Sun Recording Studio. This album is decidedly ORBO & The Longshots' best album to date, an album they worked extremely hard with for two years. The group has played in many corners of the United States and consider themselves a "good old-fashioned travelling rock band." ORBO & The Longshots started playing together in 2000, formed by Ole Reinert Berg-Olsen. They won the Norwegian Grammy award in 2009 for their album High Roller.
