German violist Veit Hertenstein is being called "One of the most exciting musicians on his instrument to emerge in years." He has been invited to international music festivals, where he has been awarded many prizes including the Henri Louis de la Grange prize. This release includes Vet's own viola adaptation of a selection of Shostakovich's Preludes from Op. 34, as well as Vadim Borisovsky's viola arrangemetn of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet.
