My three violin and piano duos were written for musicians I admire. While each duo has a different set of musical materials, all of them share the idea of arranging a series of contrasting episodes to project a coherent musical form. The brothers have also performed at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Spivey Hall, the Eastman Theatre, and internationally throughout Europe and Central America. In addition to their duo collaboration, Joseph and John are also celebrated soloists.
