Longstanding favorites like “We Are Called,” are cornerstones of this album, and are joined with new works, many of which were specifically composed for the Year of Mercy such as Marty Haugen’s “Be Merciful,” and Michael Joncas’ “A Place Called Home.” The 2016 Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy was announced by Pope Francis on March 13, 2015.
