� As Brigham Young University's newest official a cappella group, Byu Noteworthy is a nine-voice, all-female ensemble that seeks to entertain and uplift audiences worldwide. � Over the past decade the group has produced highly acclaimed recordings, toured throughout the United States, appeared on NBC's "The Sing-Off," and won the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. � The thirteen tracks on the a capella group's eponymously titled album feature a range of contemporary popular material written or co-written by Freddie Mercury ("Crazy Little Thing Called Love"), Annie Lennox ("Into The West"), and Beyonc� ("Listen) to a Bulgarian Folk Song ("Ergen Deda") as well as songs more properly appropriate to those of Mormon background and faith.

The Bringham Young University Wind Symphony presents the album Timeless, a collection of wind band dances and other concert favorites. Containing works by Ryan Nowlin, Dmitri Kabalevsky, and Henry Fillmore, the program for this album covers a wide variety of musical styles for wind band. The Bringham Young University Wind Symphony is currently under the direction of Donald Peterson.

The Brigham Young University Choirs have four auditioned groups: the BYU Singers, the Concert Choir, the Men's Chorus, and the Women's Chorus, and each December they come together along with the BYU Philharmonic for the Celebration of Christmas concert, which has combined the spiritual, traditional, and international aspects of Christmas into one joyous concert, with music as timeless as Christmas itself. These concert celebrations, which have been nationally broadcast on television since 1993, are a seasonal favorite at Brigham Young University and across the United States. Carol of Joy is the 6th in a series of fantastic BYU Choirs Celebration of Christmas albums, which showcase not only the talent and artistry of these students and their directors but also their strong personal and spiritual connection to the repertoire which they are performing.

The BYU Concert Choir of 100 advanced singers has acquired an outstanding reputation for captivating performances of a wide variety of repertoire taken from the great choral literature, encompassing many different styles and genres. The 180 voiced BYU Men's Chorus, founded in 1958, are thought to be the largest collegiate male choral organization in the country. The Women's Chorus is a large group of select, versatile singers well known for it's beautiful, blended sound from pristine, quiet unison to the majesty of large textured sonorities.

We are excited to share with you the excitement and musical energy of our live performances for the people of the Baltic States and Scandinavia. Synthesis has had the privilege of sharing America's music- jazz- with many countries of the world, including Japan, China, Brazil, Russia, and much of Europe. We need no translation when we play; people everywhere feel and love jazz, and much goodwill ahs been fostered through our performances. I have tried before to record the band at the end of a tour with no success because of our being jet lagged and brain-dead. Brigham Young University’s nine-man a cappella sensation has performed in front of millions on NBC’s The Sing-Off, on YouTube, and in concerts around the United States. “He Is Born”, featuring songs such as “Infant Holy, Infant Lowly,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen,” “Sleigh Ride,” and more, BYU Vocal Point’s debut Christmas album is destined to become a family favorite among Christmas albums for years to come. Formed in 1991, Vocal Point was the 2006 winner of the Int’l Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) and a 2nd place finisher at ICCA in 2011. The ensemble also proved to be a Top 5 finisher on the aforementioned NBC-TV show “The Sing Off”, also in 2011.

Ranging from timeless hymns of devotion to powerful Christian songs, Vocal Point's highly anticipated inspirational album highlights the Savior's love for the one, His mission, divinity, and ultimately-His grace. Vocal Point was founded in 1991 by two students at Brigham Young University. Dave Boyce and Bob Ahlander first heard the contemporary a cappella sound during a visit to the eastern U.S., where it had already grown to considerable popularity at colleges throughout the east. Seeking to bring that sound westward, Dave and Bob recruited Jill Petersen-Lex to serve as the group's first Artistic Director. The three held auditions in the fall of 1991. After the members were selected and began singing, the nine-man group became an instant hit on campus, selling out it's very first concert. In Fall 1994, the ensemble was adopted into the School of Music.

BYU Singers’ debut album under conductor Dr. Andrew Crane combines classical and contemporary sacred choral music in a variety of styles. From English Renaissance to American hymns to bluegrass, the choir inspires with its trademark beautiful sound, sparkling precision, and expressive artistry. The Brigham Young University Singers is a top-tier choir with impressive voices that performs a wide range of styles. Conducted by Dr. Andrew Crane, the group performs pieces from nearly every musical genre as well as many original works written or arranged for the choir. Known as one of the country’s finest choirs, BYU Singers celebrated their 30th anniversary in March 2015. The choir has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Sydney Opera House, and more. The choir consists of 40 students pursuing a variety of graduate and undergraduate degrees.

'The Story of My Life' features Lea Salonga and the BYU Chamber Orchestra performing some of Lea's favorite Broadway, Disney, and pop songs, including many arranged and orchestrated by her brother, Gerard Salonga. This album was recorded on May 30, 2017, on the Cultural Center of the Philippines' Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo stage in front of a live audience. This stage is incredibly special to Lea, as it is where, at age 7, she made her performance debut as a member of the company of The King and I and, at age 18, she first sang the song "I'd Give My Life for You" in public, just prior to leaving for London in 1989 to take on the role of Kim in the West End production of 'Miss Saigon'. Of this performance with the BYU Chamber Orchestra, Lea writes: "This collaboration with the BYU Chamber Orchestra was a special one. I vividly remember stepping onto the stage for our first sound check surrounded by young, eager musicians with their instruments at the ready. And then they played. The sound they produced was magnificent, but it was more than that. You could hear their enthusiasm and excitement in the notes, but, more importantly, you could feel the heart and soul they had poured into the program. Being able to perform in Manila with these talented musicians was such a treat, and I'm grateful that my hometown audience got to experience their superb musicianship. I hope this won't be the last opportunity we'll have to perform together." As you listen to this concert recording, which features songs handpicked by Lea as well as stories from her life, you will get to know this world-renowned singer and actress in an intimate and personal way. The BYU Young Ambassadors’ new production, "Heartsongs: Melodies of Love," is a fast-paced musical revue created for family audiences. + "Heartsongs" features show tunes from award-winning Broadway musicals as well as popular international hits by the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Adele and Michael Jackson. + Since their premier performance at Expo ’70 in Osaka, Japan, the BYU Young Ambassadors have performed in over 67 countries and appeared before millions, including many government and arts leaders.
