Roger Eno's "The Turning Year" opened a window into the insights of the British composer. Now, Eno has revisited and expanded this repertoire for a series of three EPs featuring a combination of illuminating reworks, previously unreleased tracks, and gems from the album sessions. The Vienna Philharmonic, led by Franz Welser-Most and supported by an all-star line-up, among them pianist Yuja Wang, performed a concert of pieces highlighting war and peace in commemoration of the end of WWI. 100 years after the first of the devastating human catastrophes of the 20th century officially ended at Versailles, a group of inspired musicians gathered at the historic site for a concert that is now available on film and CD.

Daniel Hope's latest album, Irish Roots, embodies his deep connection to Ireland, inherited from his paternal great-grandfather who left Waterford for South Africa in the 1890s. Although never residing in Ireland, Hope's fascination with it's culture led to the creation of the documentary, Celtic Dreams: Daniel Hope's Hidden Irish History. CD

Tarmo Peltokoski/Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen - "Mozart Symphonies" / Conducting three Mozart masterpieces, the rapturously acclaimed young Finnish phenomenon Tarmo Peltokoski makes his debut as an exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist, about which he says: "It's a luxury to perform Mozart with The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and to put these three symphonies on record is a dream come true."

Mivos Quartet - Steve Reich: The String Quartets - Between 1988 and 2010, Steve Reich composed three string quartets - 'Different Trains', 'Triple Quartet' and 'WTC 9/11'. Deutsche Grammophon now presents this trilogy of works for the first time on one album, in definitive new recordings from the Mivos Quartet. Hailed by The Chicago Reader as "one of America's most daring and ferocious new-music ensembles", the Mivos players developed their interpretations of the three quartets - inspired by the music of speech, echoes of Bartok and the events of a day transformed by terror - in close collaboration with the composer. Reich himself supported the project from inception to completion, answering the group's questions about fine musical details, offering advice on matters of style and endorsing the finished album. 'Steve Reich: The String Quartets', featuring notes by veteran radio host and music writer John Schaefer, is set for release digitally, on CD and on vinyl (2 LPs) on 3 February 2023.
