Erroll Garner

1921–1977. American pianist. in the Mainstream Jazz tradition.

Erroll Garner was a self-taught jazz pianist known for his distinctive stride-influenced swing style, lush orchestral left-hand voicings, and playful spontaneity. Best known for composing 'Misty' and the live album 'Concert by the Sea'.
