This recording developed from an experience which occurred among Jacques Israelievitch and colleagues at the Chautauqua Festival in 2015. The musicians performed a marathon seven and a half hour concert in which they performed all of Mozart’s sonatas. Three of Mozart’s sonatas are performed here, along with his Variations on a French Song. This album is being released in the memory of Jacques Israelievitch who unfortunately passed away on September 5, 2015.
