Born in St Asaph, North Wales in 1975, Paul Mealor studied composition privately as a boy with William Mathias and later with John Pickard, and at the University of York with Nicola LeFanu (BA Hons, 1997, PhD, 2002) and in Copenhagen with Hans Abrahamsen and Per N�rg�rd. His music has been commissioned and performed at many festivals and by many orchestras and choruses and has been broadcast on every major TV and Radio station throughout the world. Since January 2003 he has taught in the Music Department at the University of Aberdeen where he is Professor of Composition.

Michael Joncas's newest collection, Deep and Lasting Peace, is as rich as it is varied. Here you'll find festive settings of great hymns scored for congregations, choir, brass, and organ, incorporating Joncas's original texts. Simple settings of the three gospel canticles found in Luke utilize a "psalm tune," while another setting of the Maginificat is ideal for festive occasions. Responding to frequent requests, Joncas has revised the Gloria from his Psallite Mass, casting it in a "festive" setting using a refrain format augmented by brass as well as in a "ferial" setting for everyday Sunday use with two woodwinds and guitar. Gary Daigle has been an important collaborator on many composer collections, serving as arranger, instrumentalist, composer, and recording engineer. Named Pastoral Musician of the Year at the NPM 2019 convention, GIA is pleased to release Gary's first solo collection in over 20 years. Way, Truth, and Life exhibits a wide variety of musical styles. Not only has Gary provided new melodies for familiar texts, he was reworked some standard tunes, thereby breathing new life into classic melodies. Produced by his friend and mentor David Haas, Fresh as the Morning offers a variety of music including psalms, hymns, and communion and gathering songs. The title song unites a lilting melody with an uplifting text by Shirley Erena Murray. "Come Emmanuel" is a lively adaptation of the traditional chant perfect for youth liturgies or a rousing conclusion to the Third Sunday of Advent, and ideal for general intercessions is the quiet, prayerful "Grant Us Peace, Lord." Based on the amazing worship songs found in GIA’s Gather series of hymnals, acclaimed composer Mark Hayes has created these solo arrangements for piano. Classics like “All Are Welcome,” “Blest Are They,” and “The Love of the Lord” are all arranged in Mark’s signature style. These highly respected and cherished hymns are elevated by rich harmonies and florid embellishments. Each solo is three minutes or less in length, of medium difficulty, and is arranged in the key in which it would normally be sung. Early compositions were published by Composers' Forum for Catholic Worship and Resource Publications in the 1970's, and his works are represented in Gather and RitualSong, as well as other publications.
