On May 10, 2023, pianist Mikael Ayrapetyan plays Carnegie Hall, in a program of miniatures by Chukhajian, Elmas, Ekmalian and other composers. An indefatigable champion of music from his native Armenia, Ayrapetyan has contributed a growing discography of all-Armenian piano albums to the world via Grand Piano and Naxos.
