Ivan Bosnar, the First Prize Winner in the American Guild of Organists' 2020 National Competition in Organ Improvisation, plays a program of romantic-era organ music, plus 4 short improvisations, an improvised passacaglia and fugue and improvised variations on Regina Caeli, upon the historic 1890 Barckhoff organ of St. Mary's Church, Auburn, New York. Ivan Bosnar, a native of Croatia, studied organ at the Eastman School of Music with Nathan Laube and improvisation with Edoardo Bellotti and William Porter. He took his first organ lessons at Vatroslav Lisinski School of Music in Zagreb where he studied with Jasna Sumak-Picek. Following high school, he studied organ at Zagreb Music Academy with Mario Penzar and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz with Ulrich Walther.

American organist James D. Hicks continues his quest to present fine Nordic organ music, including exciting music with other instruments, on the 1884 Nielsen / 2009 Kuhn pipe organ of Uranienborg Kirke in Oslo, Norway.

James D. Hicks is a concert organist living and working out of Califon, New Jersey. A graduate of Peabody Conservatory of Music, Yale University, and the University of Cincinnati, Hicks has also studied at the Royal School of Church Music in the UK. James held liturgical positions throughout the USA over the course of thirty-five years and now devotes himself to concerts, publishing, and recording projects. Over the past 15 years, James has researched the music of the Nordic lands and the result is this ongoing series.

Grammy®-nominated American organist Jan Kraybill performs an engaging program of organ literature spanning the 18th through 21st centuries upon the Schantz pipe organ of Grace Cathedral (Episcopal) in Topeka, Kansas USA. Jan Kraybill is a musical leader and dynamic speaker; a concert organist, pianist, and harpsichordist; an educator, church musician, and consultant; and an enthusiastic advocate for the power of music to change lives for the better. In addition to maintaining a very active concert schedule, Dr. Kraybill is Organ Conservator at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, Organist-in-Residence at the international headquarters of Community of Christ in Independence, Missouri; and Organist at Village on Antioch Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Overland Park, Kansas. She plays and oversees the care of the Kansas City metro area's three largest pipe organs: at Community of Christ, the Auditorium’s 113-rank Aeolian-Skinner (installed in 1959) and the Temple’s 102-rank Casavant (1993), and at the Kauffman Center's Helzberg Hall, the 102-rank Julia Irene Kauffman Casavant (2012).
