The eight composers honoring Jojje Wadenius with their work are Monica Dominique, Helge Albin, Peter Danemo, Anne Mette Iversen, Geir Lysne, Johan Lindström, Maggi Olin and Joakim Milder. In addition to these compositions the album includes Jojje Wadenius’ classic tune from 1969, Snake in a Hole, performed as an encore on the tour with Norrbotten Big Band. What joy to spend a couple weeks with this versatile and inspiring group of musicians. Their incredible knowledge never ceased to amaze me.
