Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, longtime purveyors, custodians, and distillers of the modern big band swing sound are back and newly signed with Savoy Jazz. In celebration of twenty years bringing an irrepressible groove to the adoring masses, the band has recorded RATTLE THEM BONES, their eighth studio album. Produced by lead singer, Scotty Morris and Joshua Levy with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the band has honed their musicality between the sounds of prohibition era BOARDWALK EMPIRE to the swinging of 60's MAD MEN.

2017 release. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the incomparable kings of swing, announce Louie! Louie! Louie!, an electrifying celebration of jazz legends Louie Armstrong, Louie Jordan and Louie Prima. On their 11th album and third for iconic label Savoy Jazz, the band is sharper than ever as they pay homage to their jazz heroes. Produced by founder and lead singer Scotty Morris, the album reveals the evolution of swing, jazz and popular music through the songs and personalities of these three giants of American culture. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy first found fame in the '90s during the long-overdue Louis Prima revival that suddenly brought swing bands from coast to coast to greater prominence. But Big Bad Voodoo Daddy was always among the best of the lot with a really tight band that could jump, jive and wail just like their many musical heroes.

2017 release, the final recording by legendary jazz fusion pioneers Larry Coryell and Alphonse Mouton in the reformed the Eleventh House. The late guitarist Coryell assembled founding members Randy Brecker (trumpet), long-timer John Lee (bass), the addition of son Julian (guitar) and the late Alphonse Mouzon (drums) to bring the rock and funk back to jazz again with a batch of eleven powerhouse tracks. The album is truly a group effort with Coryell relying on each member to contribute compositions to the new album (much like he did back in the 70's).
