The poetic significance of Risonanze erranti (1985-87) should be interpreted in the light of the reflections developed since the summer of 1975 with the Venetian friend and philosopher Massimo Cacciari, to whom the work is dedicated. After 'Al gran sole carico d'amore' (In the Bright Sunshine Heavy with Love) (1972-74) Nono, obsessed by a sense of anguish owed to his solitude and his activism frustrated by the stagnation of Italian music institutions, felt the need to re-examine his work as a composer, in the Gramscian sense of an "organic intellectual in the society." His meeting with the philosopher revived his interest in the critical and artistic activity in the Vienna of Ludwig Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico- Philosophicus, and more broadly in the Mitteleuropean culture between the 19th and 20th centuries, which he perceived as a 'higher' commitment to the quest for truth, as opposed to the falsehood of political, scientific, religious, logical-mathematical thought and the misleading implications of language.

Ivan Wyschnegradsky (1893-1979) is unquestionably an essential figure in 20th-century music. A pioneer in micro-intervallic music, heir to the thinking of Scriabin, he left a number of works in third, quarter, fifth, sixth and even twelfths of tones. His theoretical, organological and compositional research opened the way for other composers who, in turn, devoted their work to music in micro-intervals, which is probably, as says Alain Bancquart, the music of the future. The album includes world premiere recordings of three works representative of three distinct periods in Ivan Wyschnegradsky's output: the M�ditation sur deux th�mes de "La Journ�e de l'Existence" (1918) for cello and piano; Ainsi parlait Zarathoustra for 4 pianos tuned in quartertones, a work admired as of it's first performance in 1937 by Olivier Messiaen; and the 4th Symphonic Fragment (1956), for 4 pianos and ondes Martenot, written in full mastery of his microtonal language. To these are added two recent works commissioned from Alain Mo�ne and Alain Bancquart, composers who have always devoted themselves to micro-intervallic writing. In their total diversity and originality, all these works prove to what degree this music can touch us and convince us in it's evidence.

OCCAM OCEAN 3 is an exceptional project, the result of collaboration between Eliane Radigue, French composer, pioneer of the exclusive use of continuous sounds, and three string instrumentalists, Julia Eckhardt, Silvia Tarozzi and Deborah Walker. Composed in Paris, the three pieces featured on this record were recorded in September 2019 at the Abbazia di Santa Maria Assunta, Monteveglio (Bologna) in Italy. The present album is released on Shiiin Records, along with a beautiful 32 pages booklet, which is a testimony of this great adventure.

The project "Piano Trimba" by Dominique Ponty (piano) and Stefan Lakatos (trimba), gathering miniatures composed by Moondog during his life, is remarkable for more than one reason. On the one hand, because his performers have known and worked for many years with the composer. On the other hand because this very sensitive recording brings together known pieces and unpublished pieces of Moondog, most of which are dedicated to Dominique. In perfect resonance with the work of Moondog, Dominique and Stefanen are today the most authentic performers. The truly "unheard" character of these works, their faithful interpretation, attentive to every detail, make this record an indispensable testimony to the work of this luminous musician.

OCCAM OCEAN 4, co-produced by the shiiin label and the ZKM Hertz-Lab, is an exceptional project, the result of a collaboration between Eliane Radigue, French composer and pioneer of the exclusive use of continuous sounds, and three musicians: Bertrand Gauguet on alto saxophone, Yannick Guédon on vocals and "dessus de viole", and Carol Robinson on birbyne and bass clarinet. Composed in Paris in 2018 and 2019, the three pieces on this album (for alto saxophone, voice/viola, and birbyne; for baritone solo; and for alto saxophone and bass clarinet), were recorded in March 2021 at the Kubus of the ZKM in Karlsruhe, during an artist residency, in which the three musicians were invited to participate in the framework of the "EASTN-DC" project, co-funded by the "Creative Europe" funding program of the European Union. The album is released on the Shiiin label, accompanied by a magnificent 66-page booklet in French and German.
