Tubby Hayes was a leading British jazz musician of the 1950s–60s, celebrated as a virtuosic tenor saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist. Closely associated with Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London. Influential but underrepresented outside the UK jazz specialist market.
