In their recital of 20th century music for oboe and piano, Alexei Ogrintchouk and his father Leonid present five works largely inspired by outstanding oboists and connected to the political and cultural tensions of the period leading up to, during and after the WWII. + Alexei Ogrintchouk is one of today’s outstanding oboists and has been performing worldwide since the age of 13. + He has been principal oboist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Amsterdam, since 2005.
