Trumpeter/composer Ambrose Akinmusire and guitarist/composer Mary Halvorson's album Slo-Mo Neon Luminate Hoverings is due June 12, 2026, on Nonesuch Records. Two CDs. Nonesuch releases the soundtrack for Luca Guadganino's film After The Hunt, which stars Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloe Sevigny. After The Hunt is a gripping psychological drama written by Nora Garrett about a college professor (Julia Roberts) who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star student (Ayo Edebiri) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Andrew Garfield), and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come into the light. As with almost all of Guadagnino's films - beginning with I Am Love and including Call Me By Your Name- the double album soundtrack, compiled by Guadagnino and Matthew Rankin, comprises multiple recordings by composer John Adams, as well as new music by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (Challengers, Bones And All, Queer), and a selection of songs featured in the film by Tony Bennett & Bill Evans, The National, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Everything But The Girl, among others.
Nonesuch releases Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated composer Jonny Greenwood's score to the new action comedy film written, directed, and produced by Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another features eighteen new compositions performed by Greenwood-on piano, guitar, bass, percussion, and ondes Martenot-joined by the London Contemporary Orchestra and conductor Hugh Brunt, among others. The title track may be streamed here. Released via Warner Bros. Pictures in the US on September 26, One Battle After Another stars Academy Award and BAFTA winners Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro, and Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and Chase Infiniti.

MAKAYA MCCRAVEN / OFF THE RECORD Internationally acclaimed drummer, producer, and sonic collagist Makaya McCraven returns to announce four distinct yet interconnected EPs - Techno Logic, The People's Mixtape, Hidden Out!, and PopUp Shop compiled on a 2xLP and 2xCD physical release titled Off the Record. Together they mark McCraven's first recorded offerings since 2022's In These Times. Built from live recordings, the music is later reshaped by McCraven via extensive editing, overdubs, and post-production at his home studio in Chicago. Hidden Out! Is built off recordings from McCraven's June 2017 residency at The Hideout in Chicago, where he improvised weekly with a revolving cast including bassist Junius Paul, Tortoise member, International Anthem labelmate, composer and guitarist Jeff Parker, and SML co-leader, GRAMMY-award winning producer and alto saxophonist Josh Johnson. PopUp Shop was created from recordings of McCraven's Los Angeles debut at Del Monte Speakeasy in 2015, where McCraven took part in the King Hippo and Grown Kids Radio produced event RAWS: LA, and improvised with guitarist Jeff Parker, vibraphonist Justefan, and bassist Benjamin J. Shepherd.
2026 release. Sarah Kirkland Snider's fifth full-length LP, a new, all-orchestral album titled Forward Into Light, produced by multi-GRAMMY-winning producer Silas Brown and recorded by GRAMMY-nominated Metropolis Ensemble led by artistic director/conductor Andrew Cyr.
Malian balafon player Neba Solo and donso n'goni player Benego Diakite's A Djinn and a Hunter Went Walking-the first in a series of new releases in collaboration with longtime Nonesuch partner Nick Gold, former head of World Circuit Records-features the leading players of their traditional instruments: the marimba-like balafon, or bala, and donso n'goni, a hunter's harp. On the album, co-produced by Gold, Ousmane Haidara, and Sonny Johns, the acoustic instrumentals are complemented by vocals and percussion as well as touches of mellotron, guitar, and strings. The CD version includes a second disc of their original duo performances, unadorned, recorded in a Bamako garden under a mango tree. They started after the sun went down, and crickets can be heard chirping during the quiet moments.

Happy Today, the third album from guitarist/bandleader Jeff Parker's long-running ETA IVtet, was recorded live at Lodge Room in Los Angeles on August 20, 2025. This fresh entry into the IVtet's catalog captures Parker and the band - including drummer Jay Bellerose, bassist Anna Butterss, and saxophonist Josh Johnson - on record outside of the now-shuttered Highland Park micro-club ETA for the first time.
Nonesuch Records releases mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile's Bach: Sonatas and Partitas, Vol. 2 on November 7, 2025. The two-LP album comprises Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004; Sonata No. 3 in C major, BWV 1005; and Partita No. 3 in E major, BWV 1006. For his second recording of Bach Violin Sonatas and Partitas, twelve years after the first volume, Chris Thile opted for a more personal approach to the revered master composer's works. This time, he allowed himself to take liberties with the scores, which he recorded in multiple, somewhat untraditional, locations of personal significance: Reservoir Studios and Tompkins Square Park in New York City; Farrell Recital Hall at Murray State University in Murray, KY; and Blackberry Farm in Walland, TN.
