'become the Sky' is a collection of meditative, piano-led pieces, deeply exploring themes of change, travel, and the profound feeling of returning home. The album was recorded at the beautiful Australian Chamber Orchestra's studios. The recording space itself became an integral part of the album's sound: it's vast and echoic, yet there's a purposeful, tangible sense of intimacy woven throughout. What began as a two-day session for an EP quickly unfolded into something more; 11 tracks ended up being recorded, each captured in straight takes in their most authentic form. Music has this incredible power to fuel our minds, transport us to different places, and help us hold onto deeply felt memories. In our fast-paced, often anxiety-fueled world, 'become the Sky' was written to be a musical companion - a way to slow down and truly appreciate life in slow motion.

Isobel Waller-Bridge, composer and musician returns with Objects. Where her 2022 album VIII articulated a tormented mind's undoing, Objects is an act of radical stillness. It confers beauty on things the pace of our lives has taught us to ignore, inviting us to listen not as an objective experience, but as a personal and mysterious response to the world.

Somnambulant Cycles is an instrumental album exploring the feeling of subconscious states. Intended to create a sense of physiologically fertile calm, the calm where ideas come from, where emotions are felt but pass by like pedestrians. It is the quiet of night when our ancestors saw spirits over the water but felt a strange comfort rather than fear. The strange sensation of being aware that you are sleepwalking, but not wanting to wake up.
Vinyl LP pressing. Like all of Melbourne, Luke Howard lived through the longest Covid-related lockdown in the world. Turning adversity into an artistic triumph, he forged a new album, his second solo record for Mercury KX and a new benchmark for the contemporary classical composer, pianist, and Australian Music Prize nominee. 'All Of Us' is an exquisite portrait of isolation, loss, resistance and reconciliation in both stark and rich shades of piano, orchestra and electronics.
