After the success of 49 Hidden Treasures and 46 More Hidden Treasures, we've switched our focus and have recorded 42 of the most beloved hymns of the church. With this recording, GIA hopes to preserve the tried-and-true treasures of the African American religious experience. Favorites like “Guide My Feet,” “How Great Thou Art,” “It Is Well with My Soul,” and “Softly and Tenderly Jesus Is Calling” are just a few of the songs at the heart of this recording. These hymns play a deeply formative role in the shared faith and theology of the assembly.
